About Us
Dailey Swan Publishing, Inc was founded in 2006 as the culmination of the dream of Casey Swanson to
search out new authors and provide them a place to have their works presented to the reading public.
Beginning with a modest 3 titles the company was formally launched at the Bay Area Science Fiction
convention in April of that year.
Beginning as primarily a publisher of genre fiction, Dailey Swan Publishing, Inc has in 3 short
years grown to be a full line publisher with our books including the aforementioned genre fiction
(science-fiction/fantasy, mystery/suspense, and horror), general fiction, non-fiction, self-help/motivational,
and poetry, with the launch in the fall of 2009 of our second imprint Earl Henry Books, (a source for
new poets with something to say).
We are distributed through MidPoint Trade Books, Baker and Taylor, Ingram Book Company,
as well as many fine regional distributors. We are an affiliate of Indie-Bound, the organization
of Independent Book sellers.
We celebrated out 3rd anniversary in May 2009 at the BEA in New York. There we had 12 of our
authors appear on our behalf signing autographs and meeting their fans.
2009 was also the year we celebrated out second book award, with Paula Tutman’s Deadline winning
the Hollywood Book festival’s ‘Best Fiction’ award.
Dailey Swan Publishing, Inc was founded by Casey Swanson, his wife Jessica Dailey, his brother
Gordon Swanson. Gordon brings an expertise to production, design and layout that can’t be replaced.
Jessica is the grounding force in the house and her creative insights have made a big difference to
the upgrading of our titles and their covers. Watch for her new line of children’s books beginning in 2011.
In creating a true publishing family, not just a publishing house, Dailey Swan has endeavored to
keep everybody involved, from the writer and artists, to the founders and all the family and friends
who’ve pitched in.
Enough cannot be said for the help from Eric Mayes and John Ricks in getting our website up and
updated. And Paula Tutman, Eric Smith, and Wil Radcliffe, have provided a frequent added help to
our marketing efforts.
At Dailey Swan, we plan on continuing to grow, adding new authors and artists, new lines of titles,
and to create a new way of doing business.
Thank-you
Casey Swanson
